Letters

14 February 1944

From Dorothy to Melvin,
The first real valentine I ever gave. Your daughter is now 11 months old. Today she really walked - from the table in the kitchen into the living room. She was very pleased with herself. She thinks it's great fun. Had quite a tussel getting her to sleep tonight. Finally gave up at 9:30. I wonder about you these days more than ever. You're quite unhappy, aren't you?
Love, Dorothy
