The WW2 Letters of Private Melvin W. Johnson -READ VMAIL I have got seven of your letters now. Expect one or two more shortly. Sure glad to hear from you. Am in same place as before. You never know how long you'll be somewhere though. Did you get that one bond I sent you? I wrote Gus, Dad, Evelyn, The Brosys, the Gardners. It isn't too comfortable here. But you get used to most things. You don't know how much you miss the things at home. Sweet things are very scarce - candy, etc. Also would appreciate a hamburger sandwich with onions. Hoping for a package or two from you.
